Singer/songwriter Wendy James was a guest this week on Stereo Embers: The Podcast with Alex Green.

James, who sang for the late ’80s post-punk/pop outfit Transvision Vamp, is in the process of recording her new double album Queen High Straight.

“She was a great guest,” Alex says of James’ visit to his show. “She’s thoughtful, smart and utterly charming.”

“Not only that,” he continues, “but what’s so great about her is that after 30 years in the business, she’s arguably at the most creative point in her life. She’s in complete control of her artistic powers and she knows exactly who she is as a person.”
