First of all, the movie Kung Fury is really, really weird.
It’s a visual blast of retro chaos that’s a mash-up of “Miami Vice” Enter The Dragon and Scarface.
Oh, and David Hasselhoff.
Director David Sandberg set out to make what he hoped would be the biggest and best ’80s influenced action film ever and as a result, Kung Fury was born.
A highly successful Kickstarter-sourced project, the digitally-animated action film is a kinetic, dynamic and utterly nuts hybridization of ’80s cinema and ’80s music videos.
Which brings us to David Hasselhoff.
The former “Baywatch” and “Knight Rider” star sings the 30-minute film’s title track, which you can check out below.
The movie comes out May 28 and the soundtrack will be premiering on YouTube that day as well.
