I got a chance to see Trombone Shorty (a.k.a. Troy Andrews) live for the first time the other night and he was awesome.
It’s hard to think of a musician working today who has as much elegance, class, joy and musical virtuosity as Trombone Shorty. The Louisiana-born multi-instrumentalist has the kind of sonic dexterity and stage-presence that make him an absolute thrill to watch.
He’s one of the most in-demand players today and he’s worked with a long list of people including: Lenny Kravitz, Foo Fighters and Aerosmith.
He and his band tore it up–what a night!
