I caught Night #2 of their Massive Nights stand at the Brooklyn Bowl and it was, as it always is, fabulous.
Craig Finn and company were in killer form, tearing through their extensive songbook with soaring instrumentation, streetwise poeticism and pure rock and roll nerve.
“The Swish” and “Constructive Summer” were as rousing as ever, while “Hot Soft Light” and “The Sweet Part Of The City” were urgent and dynamic.
