Blondie have revealed their new album will be out in 2027.
Titled High Noon, the band’s twelfth effort—and their first in nearly a decade—will feature the final work of co-founder and drummer Clem Burke, who died in 2025.
High Noon has a deep bench of guest players, including: Johnny Marr, Glen Matlock of The Sex Pistols, Zach Condon (Beirut), Jess Wolfe and Holly Laessig (Lucius).
Of High Noon, singer Debbie Harry says: “This album is classic Blondie — an amalgamation of all our different influences and eras into something new. This music feels grounded in the present, shaped by who we are and how we’re living now.”
The band’s Chris Stein adds: “It’s been a long, strange ride, and somehow here we are with another Blondie album. I’m not sure what the fuck I’m supposed to say at this point, except that we’re incredibly grateful for all your support over the years.”
High Noon started to gestate back in 2022, with the legendary outfit recording in New York with producer John Congleton (The War On Drugs, St. Vincent). Congleton also helmed the band’s last effort, 2017’s Pollinator.
The album’s first single is the Marr-penned number “Spectral Eyes.”
High Noon will be out February 27th.
