The London Souls, Live In New York

Written by:

The London Souls played a blistering set the other night at the Capital Theatre in New York.

A two-man army, the band may not have a lot of personnel, but they certainly can fill a room.

Equal parts Cream, The Doors and The White Stripes, The London Souls are one of the most exciting and musically refreshing bands on the planet.

Singer Tash Neal brings to mind everyone from Gary Clark Jr. to Dan Auerbach of the Black Keys, while drummer Chris St. Hilaire backed him with the perfect blend of muscle and groove.

The New York City band’s latest album Here Come The Girls is the follow up to their 2011 self-titled debut and their set was a mixture of both albums.

Here are some of my favorite shots of the night.
