You have no idea how much I love the Tedeschi Trucks Band.
I’ve seen this Florida-based outfit live a bunch of times and every single show I’ve taken in has been so soulfully precise, so musically on point, that I have no problem saying right now that they are easily one of the best live bands on the earth.
I caught them on the fourth night of a four-night run at the Beacon Theatre and they were awesome.
Derek Trucks is one of the greatest guitar players of all time and Susan Tedeschi has such a powerful and rousing voice, the experience was nothing short of breathtaking.
