The Struts ripped through a nearly two-hour set the other night (9/11) at the Capitol Theater in Port Chester, New York.
The British band blasted their way through pandemic fears by reminding the enthusiastic crowd of the transformative power of live music.
Frontman Luke Spiller was in commanding form, radiating classic rock charisma, while guitarist Adam Slack played big crunchy licks and masterful solos.
Touring behind their latest album (Strange Days, 2020), and third overall, The Struts are one of those bands you feel you’ve known your entire life.
This was wicked and deeply satisfying work.
