Canadian indie music duo KasēoGems recently released their captivating second-ever single “Don’t Go.”
It’s a delicate and heartfelt folk-imbued number that spotlights the wistful vocals of band members Geoff Gibbons and Vicky Sjohall, as well as gentle finger-picked acoustic guitar and melancholic strings.
“Don’t Go” follows up the Vancouver-based pair’s cover of Bruce Springsteen’s classic “I’m On Fire” and was recorded remotely during the pandemic.
Gibbons and Sjohall have also created an accompanying music video that was also made at a distance from one another.
The poignant lament about star-crossed love enchants with the duo’s intertwining and emotive vocals, lightly resounding, steely guitar chime, and the bittersweet shiver of symphonic strings.
