Okay, so I still can’t get over the fact that I saw John Hiatt.
And Lyle Lovett.
Together.
On the same stage.
In a rare and intimate performance, these two titans of American Song played an acoustic show that pretty much blew my mind. Lovett’s dazzling deadpan and Hiatt’s throaty growl were in fine form and the spare presentation showcased just how powerful their work is.
I could go on, but I won’t.
It was a magical night.
