Rapper Mac Miller has died.
The Pennsylvania-born musician reportedly was found at his home in the San Fernando Valley where paramedics declared him dead at the scene.
Sources have told SEM that the cause of death was cardiac arrest catalyzed by an apparent drug overdose.
He was 26.
Miller, who has been transparent about his addiction issues in the press, has specifically described his particular penchant for lean, which is a confluence of promethazine and codeine.
Miller, whose debut album Blue Slide Park hit #1 on the Billboard charts, found himself gravitating to a more idiosyncratic musical approach and his latest album Swimming is an artistic triumph of jazz, hip-hop and rap experimentalism.
He was set to tour in support of Swimming starting with an opening date in San Francisco, October 27.
