I couldn’t have asked for a better first live concert after 16 months than the Tedeschi Trucks Band.
Breaking the lockdown live music moratorium, the Florida outfit played at the new venue Westville Music Bowl in New Haven, CT. Derek and Susan brought their Fireside Live show – a stripped- down line-up (instead of the usual 12-piece outfit they are touring as a 6-piece this summer), for a two night stay in New Haven. I was lucky enough to catch the second night performance and it was amazing to see some of my fellow photographers in the pit.
Not only that, it was incredible to be out with friends and seeing one of the best bands on the planet on a hot summer night.
