Touring behind their brand new album Atonement, Massachusetts’ Killswitch Engage took the stage at the Capitol Theatre the other night and played with brutal authority.
Truly one of the greatest live bands around, Killswitch was all velocity and sonic momentum, their songs powering through the night like instant anthems of fiery resolve.
Singer Jesse Leach is a tsunami of energy and he ripped through every number with feral charisma.
“Strength Of The Mind” was particularly rousing, while “Hate By Design” and “Alone I Stand” crackled with muscle and nerve.
