Bob Weir & Wolf Brothers, (bassist Don Was and  drummer Jay Lane) were a perfect addition to the roster of the BeachLife Festival in Redondo Beach CA last weekend.

As the sun set gracefully on the first day of the festival, fans were treated to laid back arrangements of Grateful Dead classics and covers in a perfect setting. Special guests always add an element of the unknown and the night really caught fire when the trio was joined by Chris Robinson and Jackie Greene for a groovy version of “Not Fade Away.”

Following “NFA,” Bob & Wolf Brothers put the evening to rest with a soulful rendition of “Ripple.”
