Justin Jennings and Joseph Vitterito may live in separate locations (Colorado and Maine), but they come together musically as the indie rock/pop duo FLAUNT. They have already released an instrumental-based album, CODON, and an EP and are now primed to drop their most ambitious record to date, the 18-track Rave Noir, on March 18th.
The aim of FLAUNT this time around is to create a feast of sound where each song is stylistically different than the next. Listening to Rave Noir is akin to changing the radio dial where an indie rock song segues into a blues-rock track and is followed by an electro-pop-oriented number. The album blends organic vocals, stringed instruments, and drums with electronic sonics and each song is or will be accompanied by a narrative video. So far 7 videos have been released. Take a listen and a look at the synth-pop ballad “Sideshow”:
And the bluesy slow-blaze of “I Haven’t Thought About You Yet”:
Yep, those two cuts are by the same duo! Jennings and Vitterito show off their ability and versatility throughout Rave Noir. Find out more about FLAUNT below:
