Cheap Trick will play Wrigley Field with the Foo Fighters on August 29th as part of the Sonic Highways World Tour.
The Illinois-bred band are in the midst of their own tour which finds them playing shows through the end of the year.
I caught them last night in Las Vegas and they were in fine form. Their set was a dynamic blast of power pop played with the kind of momentum that rock and roll should always have.
They remain one of the most enduring outfits for good reason.
Also on the bill for the Wrigley Field gig are Naked Raygun and Urge Overkill.
