Brian Fallon Live In New York

I can’t even tell you how great it is to see live music again.

As COVID dwindles (hopefully) and bands are returning to the stage, it feels so cool to pick up my camera again and shoot some of my favorite artists.

Brian Fallon is one of those, for sure.

At the tail end of his headlining domestic tour, Fallon and the Howling Weather stopped by the Capitol Theater in Port Chester the other night (3/2) to play a scalding set of fabulous rock and roll.

Falling somewhere between Springsteen and Strummer, Fallon is THE man. Genial, relaxed and totally in the groove, the New Jersey native reached into his deep songbook and played inspired versions of “When You’re Ready,” “Long Drives” and “Nobody Wins.”

He also played three Horrible Crowes tracks (“Ladykiller,” “Crush” and “Behold The Hurricane”) and tore the place down with one of my favorite solo tracks of his, “Rosemary.”
