“The Heart Goes Boom” turned 21 this week.

Commandeering his 21st show for Primal Radio (of a proposed 3,000,000), DJ Alex Green commemorated the occasion by playing new tracks by The Lapelles, Catfish And The Bottlemen, Twin Peaks, Tuff Sunshine, Moving Units, The Zolas and Feist’s acoustic tribute to The Tragically Hip.

He also played tracks by Common Rider, The Jazz Butcher, Big Troubles and Whipping Boy.

But the oddest part of the show is a letter Alex reads from the TSAS.

What’s the TSAS?

Why, it’s the Taylor Swift Appreciation Society.

“The letter is polite, well-written and sweet,” Alex tells us. “And the sentiment falls somewhere between Emerson and the criminally nuts.”
