I can easily say that the Dumpstaphunk/Fishbone show I saw the other night at the Capitol Theatre was one of the best gigs I’ve seen all year.
The two bands were playing the second annual Phunksgiving show at the legendary Port Chester, New York venue and it was an absolute blast.
The New Orleans outfit, which is led by Ivan Neville, played an astonishing, funk-filled set that was loaded with energy, joy and sheer musical virtuosity.
