The Montreal-based psychedelic rock band Elephant Stone have released a video for their song “Knock You From Yr Mountain,” which is one of the strongest cuts from this year’s career-defining album, The Three Poisons.
“Knock You” features a terrific bass groove – courtesy of leader Rishi Dhir – as well as one of the strongest drum tracks of Miles Dupire’s career. And the Pink Floyd-esque backing vocals of Malika Tirolien and Gab Lambert’s slashing guitar make the song an instant classic.
The video perfectly illustrates the song, which Dhir told SEM is “one of his social commentary songs.”
