New Order have debuted the clip for their new single “Restless.”
Directed by NYSU, the Spanish filmmaking collective known for their work with the Wild Beasts, the video is an updated rave take on the Arthurian legend of Excalibur that’s punctuated by hedonism and excess.
The first single from the legendary band’s upcoming album Music Complete (September 25), “Restless” brings to mind New Order’s more electronic based work.
“It’s an electronic-sounding album, dance-based but not housey,” Bernard Sumner told the NME a few months ago.
Music Complete features appearances by Iggy Pop and La Roux.
