U2 announced today the title and release date of their new album.
Dubbed Songs of Innocence, the band’s new long player will be out Oct 14th.
Recorded around the world–from Dublin to New York–the album was produced by Danger Mouse and finds the band returning to their punk rock and glam roots. Said to be a lyrically intimate album that explores such thematic terrain as home, death, friendship and family, Songs Of Innocence is U2’s 13th album and first since 2009’s No Line On The Horizon.
