The Canadian band’s new long player Pagans In Vegas will be out September 18.
The Juno-award winning band’s influences–The Cure, New Order and Depeche Mode–are really apparent on their new album and singer Emily Haines has never sounded better.
In a press release, the band’s guitar player Jimmy Shaw says: “The songs that made it onto Pagans in Vegas weren’t written with an overarching concept in mind…with this record we were making music for the joy of it…we tried to be as bold as possible. All we want is to feel like all we got didn’t cost us everything, even if we never win.”
