Our Track of the Day comes from Hawthorne Heights.

Taken from the Dayton, Ohio outfit’s new EP Hurt, “The Darkest Times” is a searing, open wound of a song that finds the band in fine form.

The third and final installment of a trilogy of EP’s, Hurt will be out September 18.

All pre-orders will include a download of the five-track EP Ohio Is For Covers, which is a series of cover tunes the band hand selected to record for this bonus release. They take on tracks by Cheap Trick, The Cranberries and The Ramones.
