The Waterboys Set To Release A New Album In August

Written by:

The Waterboys are on a tear.

Following up 2019’s Where The Action Is, the band is set to release a new album August 21.

Titled Good Luck, Seeker, the album is the Scottish band’s 14th effort.

The lead single is a sprawling, seven-minute number called “My Wanderings In The Weary Land.” A soulful, psychedelic track that finds singer Mike Scott vacillating between spoken word poetry and soaring pop heights, Good Luck, Seeker is further proof that The Waterboys remain one of the most creative and vital bands around.

Scott recently appeared on Stereo Embers: The Podcast.

Pre-order Good Luck, Seeker, here and here.
