The Last Dinner Party have announced they will embark on a 20-date North American tour.
Set to kick off March 19th in Mexico City, the tour will include New York, Portland, Salt Lake City and San Francisco.
The critically-acclaimed UK outfit will also be playing Coachella on April 13th.
Their debut album Prelude To Ecstasy, which is out February 2nd, is one of 2024’s most anticipated albums. To herald its release, band just made their U.S. television debut on “The Late Show With Stephen Colbert” where they played their new single “Nothing Matters.”
Buoyed by sweeping, melodic arrangements and cascading harmonies, The Last Dinner party bring to mind the work of everyone from Kate Bush to early Peter Gabriel.
In a statement about their album, the BRIT Rising Star Award-winning band wrote: “Ecstasy is a pendulum which swings between the extremes of human emotion, from the ecstasy of passion to the sublimity of pain, and it is this concept which binds our album together. This is an archeology of ourselves; you can exhume our collective and individual experiences and influences from within its fabric. We exorcised guitars for their solos, laid bare confessions directly from diary pages, and summoned an orchestra to bring our vision to life.”
Tickets for all of the tour dates will go on sale this Friday, Jan 26 at 10am local time here.
