The Devon Allman Project and Samantha Fish played last week (3/20) at the Westhampton Beach PAC (Performing Arts Center).
Allman has emerged as one of the great American singer/songwriters and his band plays an inspiring blend of Southern rock and blues.
Harmonica player and singer Jimmy Hall sat in with opener Samantha Fish and the Devon Allman Project and Larry McCray and the River Kittens made appearances as well.
Allman’s originals come across like well-worn classics and the band’s take on Springsteen’s “Atlantic City” and Fleetwood Mac’s “Dreams” were pure magic.
A marvelous night!
