The rumor had been circling for weeks and now it’s been confirmed.
The Cure are coming to Ireland.
The legendary band is set to play a summer gig at Dublin’s Malahide Castle.
Set for June 8 of 2019, tickets for the event will go on sale at 9am on October 10.
Opened in 2007, the 20,000 seat capacity Malahide Castle’s past headlining acts include Prince, the 1975, Radiohead, Arctic Monkeys and Arcade Fire
Meanwhile, The Cure’s frontman Robert Smith has gone on record saying the band will headline 20 festivals next year, and with shows already set for South Africa and Ireland, fans have speculated that a headlining slot at Glastonbury can’t be far off
