Robert Smith is holding true to his word.
The Cure’s frontman said last month that his band could headline as many as 20 festivals in 2019 and as of now, eleven of those festivals have been booked.
From South Africa to the Czech Republic, the legendary post-punk/Goth outfit have announced a list of major festival appearances, and exciting as the news is, what’s even more exciting is that this is just a partial list.
The Cure will headline the second Rock On The Lawns Festival, which takes place March 16 at Carnival City in Johannesburg. They’re also set to play Firenze Rocks in Italy, the Hurricane festival in Germany and Rock Werchter in Belgium.
