Two vinyl reissues by The Clean are set to kick off 2025.

Merge will be reissuing the legendary New Zealand outfit’s 1994 album Modern Rock as well as the “Late Last Night” 7-inch.

The follow-up to their 1990 debut Vehicle, Modern Rock features the lineup of Hamish Kilgour, David Kilgour, and Robert Scott.

The 30th anniversary of Modern Rock and “Late Last Night” were remastered from the original tapes under the guidance of producer and engineer Tex Houston and both feature the late Hamish Kilgour’s original artwork.

Recorded in Dunedin and originally released by Flying Nun, Modern Rock peaked at #41 on the New Zealand album charts.

Notably, the reissue will mark the first time the album will be available on vinyl in the United States.
