The Clean’s Hamish Kilgour is missing.

Kilgour, who co-founded the legendary New Zealand band with his brother David in 1978, was last seen in Christchurch on Sunday (Nov 27) at the Palms Shopping Mall.

Authorities have expressed concerns for Kilgour’s wellbeing.

Kilgour’s brother wrote on social media: “Hi everyone. At the moment Hamish’s family are asking for privacy and calm surrounding Hamish’s disappearance. Any sightings or info on Hamish’s movements in the last 5 or 6 days would be appreciated. Please forward any info to the Canterbury Police. Anyone with information on Hamish’s whereabouts is asked to contact police on 105 or online and quote file number 221128/8475 Thanks.”

The drummer is credited for being one of the main architects of the Dunedin sound.
