One of our favorite bands, The Bye Bye Blackbirds, are opening for the legendary Rain Parade.
The show will be at Oakland’s The Starry Plough on September 12.
Paige and the Thousand are also on the bill.
The timing is great for the ‘Birds, as they have announced they will release a new digital single the day before the show.
Titled “Let Your Hair Fall Down,” the song is taken from the band’s upcoming album and will be backed by a track called “These Blues.”
As for more details on the new album, singer Bradley Skaught wrote on his Facebook page: “There will be a lot more exciting news in the coming weeks, so stay tuned!”
