Tedeschi Trucks Live At The Capitol Theatre, New York

Written by:

The Tedeschi Trucks Band played the first of two sold-out shows at the Capitol Theatre in New York (2/20) and it was awesome.

Soulful, electric and utterly moving, the band’s first set was a real stunner.

Their reading of Neil Young’s “Alabama” was unbelievable and their take on Charles Segar’s “Key To The Highway” was awesome.

Set Two was a powerful collection of sheer bluesy thunder, featuring takes on numbers by Blind Willie McTell and St. Louis Jimmy Oden.

A stirring night soundtracked by one of the best bands in the business.

Set One:

  1. Do I Look Worried
  2. Just as Strange
  3. Until You Remember
  4. Key to the Highway
  5. Don’t Miss Me
  6. Alabama (Neil Young Cover)
  7. Talking About
  8. Idle Wind

Set Two:

  1. Statesboro Blues (Blind Willie McTell)
  2. Part of Me
  3. It’s So Heavy
  4. Let Me Get By
  5. Right On Time
  6. Goin’ Down Slow (St. Louis Jimmy Oden)
  7. Made Up Mind
  8. How Blue Can You Get? (Johnny Moore’s  Three Blazers)
  9. I Wish I Knew How It Would Feel To Be Free (Billy Taylor)
