Talking Heads To Reunite For Toronto Film Fest Q&A

Written by:

All four of the members of Talking Heads will appear together in September (11) at the Toronto International Film Festival.

The occasion for the reunion, which marks the first time David Byrne, Jerry Harrison, Tina Weymouth and Chris Frantz have appeared together since their 2002 induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, is the IMAX premiere of the 40th anniversary 4K restoration of the 1984 concert film Stop Making Sense.

The legendary Jonathan Demme-directed film, which captured the band during their 1983 tour for Speaking In Tongues, was hailed by critics like Leonard Maltin and Pauline Kael as one of the greatest concert films ever made.

The members of the band are set to chat with director Spike Lee after the screening of the film.

The event will be live-streamed at IMAX theaters across the globe.
