Susan Anspach Dead At 75

Actress Susan Anspach, who had a string of hits in the ’70s with Five Easy Pieces, Blume In Love and Play It Again Sam has died.

The Queens-born Anspach was 75.

The New York Times reported that the cause of death was coronary failure.

An actress with beauty, brains and range, in addition to her work in movies, Anspach was an accomplished stage actress who appeared off Broadway with Dustin Hoffman, Jon Voight and Robert Duvall.

Her first film was Hal Ashby’s The Landlord and her last appearance on film was 2010’s Inversion.

Anspach is survived by her two children and three grandchildren.
