We never thought we’d want to see Neil Finn and his son Liam wrestle on a cliff in their underwear.

But now that we’ve seen it, we realize that it’s exactly what we want to see.

Okay, maybe not exactly, but Liam Finn’s new clip for his single “Wrestle With Dad” is one of the weirdest and most hilarious videos we’ve come across in years.

A literal interpretation of the tune finds the Crowded House/Split Enz frontman Neil taking on his son Liam on a cliff, in the water and…on a cliff again.

The video was directed and edited by Liam and Neil Finn and filmed by Elroy Finn and George Kannavas.

The song is a twitchy number that channels the art school charm of Split Enz, but also contains a decidedly marvelous catchy pop hook.
