A Houston-based band that suggests Siouxsie Sioux coming to her heavy-lidded post-punked goth via the outer reaches of an acid-washed psychedelia, we here at SEM have to admit that we’ve never quite heard anything like this before. Soon to embark on a 2-week jaunt around Europe – check dates here – we foresee an entire continent falling under the blissful spell of what the band themselves refer to as “FREE GLAM.” We say call it what you like – ‘new age black magic witch music,’ or ‘pagan dishwater blues’ – we don’t care, we’re (way) on board no matter what. Debut album Doing Easy is due September 1st. Expect thrills.
