Our Track of the Day today comes from New York’s The Morning Sea.
An atmospheric blend of breezy Americana set against sweeping Gothic landscapes, the band’s seven-track effort Mal De Mer is one of the year’s finest.
The album’s second track, “Don’t Be Moronic, Merriam” is buoyed by a dark, stutter-step shuffle, a horny swagger and imploring vocals.
As catchy as it is compelling, this is a song that’s hard to resist.
