Returning with their first new music in five years, the Manchester band’s “Be A Rebel” is a wicked slice of electro pop that swirls mightily away with mesmeric guitar fills and singer Bernard Sumner’s ageless, infectious vocals.
In a statement about the track Sumner says: “In tough times we wanted to reach out with a new song. We can’t play live for a while, but music is still something we can all share together. We hope you enjoy it… until we meet again.”
