A number that jangles mightily away behind singer Kev Bolus’ wistful and earnest delivery, it’s quite easily one of the finest tracks of 2020.
A perfect blend of longing and resolve, “The Godfather” is awash in the kind of aching pop brilliance that brings to mind everyone from Haven to the later work of Idelwild.
Accepting The Universe will be out through Vibrant Sky Records this fall.
