Stereo Embers’ Photo Editor Geoff Tischman is set to share a lavish photo essay on Canada’s Theory Of A Deadman.
Shot in late February in New York, Tischman’s photographs capture the band’s onstage intensity and the electricity of their energetic live performances.
“I’d never seen Theory of a Deadman play before,” Tischman said, “but they were incredible subjects to photograph. They’ve got muscle and heart and their live show was redolent with conviction and grace. Not only that, but the band has a natural relationship with their audience and there was a palpable sense of community between them.”
The British Columbia band, known for their Number One hits like “Lowlife” and “Bad Girlfriend” are touring behind their fifth album Savages.
The photo essay will be published March 10.
