Stereo Embers’ November Playlist – 21 Tracks We Just Can’t Shake

Written by: and

As arctic vortexes drop down over the northern border and daylight diminishes in one’s own vapored breath, as Santa appears a few seconds after Halloween and the specter of cabin fever looms like an eternal shadow, it isn’t just the thermostats and space heaters that are pulling extra electricity through the virtual walls of the Stereo Embers office but the music-mad iPads, laptops, turntables and, yes, even CD players that will be as responsible for our soon-to-be-soaring utility bills as much as anything else. Stuck indoors? Turn the stereo on, of course! The noise is fairly constant enough during the temperate months but come late fall/early winter, music isn’t just in the air around here, it is the air. With that in mind, we present you with our November playlist, twenty-one tracks that are currently warming our collective cockles, as it were. Though your authors tried to hold the list’s time span to the last four months, a few of these have been lingering for a while longer than that, as we haven’t yet figured out a way to shake ’em.
