Sheryl Crow played the Capitol Theatre this past weekend (Nov. 10) and she was unbelievable.
Touring behind her recently released ninth album Be Myself, Crow played a breezy set of old classics and new favorites, reaching back into her discography and pulling out numbers like “Windy Road” and “Run Baby Run.”
Crow is a genial and generous performer and she was clearly having a blast onstage. Her band was tight and well-oiled, giving numbers like “Change” and “Adam Bomb” the perfect blend of punch and swagger.
Filled with rootsy stomp, soulful ballads and blazing rockers, Crow’s set proved that her songs will last the test of time.
