Stereo Embers’ Photo Editor Geoff Tischman is readying a photo essay of Robert Plant’s latest solo show.
With Sheryl Crow opening, Plant played Forest Hills Tennis Stadium in New York (June 13) and Tischman, who has captured the likes of Wilco, Phish, Brian Fallon and Elvis Costello, was there with his camera for the former Led Zeppelin frontman’s set.
“It was a perfect night,” Geoff wrote to the SEM staff. “Plant’s voice remains one of the most perfect and powerful instruments in rock and roll and he just exuded wattage.”
