Prince’s Diamonds and Pearls is set for a rather comprehensive reissue.

The 1991 album, which was released under the name Prince & The New Power Generation, will be reissued this October.

The collection will feature the remastered original album along with 47 previously unreleased tracks, remixes and B-sides. The unreleased material was recorded at the same time of the release of the record, and were pulled from Prince’s extensive archives.

Also included will be two hours of concert footage from 1992 that was shot at Prince’s Minneapolis club Glam Slam.

Available in both 7xCD and 12xLP editions, the reissue also features a 120-page book of essays and photographs, with Public Enemy’s Chuck D. handling foreword duties.
