Stereo Embers’ Photo Editor Geoff Tischman took in an intimate set by Tommy Stinson a few nights ago at the Stone Pony in Asbury Park, New Jersey.
Flanked by only a keyboard player, Stinson played a spare and rousing set that found our man behind the lens rather blown away.
“Tommy was in fine voice,” Geoff tells us. “And not only were his songs catchy and affecting, he had an incredibly commanding stage presence.”
