“I don’t know how to explain how dizzyingly great Primus were the other night,” Stereo Embers’ Photo Editor Geoff Tischman told us the day after he saw the band play.
“They remain one of the most entertaining, idiosyncratic and truly original bands on the planet,” he said.
Geoff caught Primus at the Capitol Theatre in New York last week and he tells us that the band are not only fabulous players, they’re terrific photographic subjects.
“Les Claypool is fascinating to shoot,” he said. “His movements are syncopated and unique and his charismatic brand of strange energy and virtuoso musicianship is nothing short of infectious.”
Enjoy Geoff’s visual take on the legendary Bay Area band.
