Stereo Embers’ Photo Editor Geoff Tischman was there to shoot Deer Tick at their recent show at Toad’s Place in New Haven. Known for their blistering and electrifying live performances you never know what’s going to happen at a Deer Tick show. This time around singer John McCauley’s wife Vanessa Carlton showed up to sing a number, McCauley shotgunned a bottle of beer while playing guitar and our man Geoff caught it all. “They were so great,” he wrote us after the show. “I will definitely see them live every chance I get.”
