In (near painful) anticipation of their self-titled debut album’s June 17th release on BITBY Recording Co., Northern Arms have released the follow-up video to “What You’ve Got On,” this time giving us the sumptuous “Below The Pines.” As if leaning into a ghostly, sepulchral breeze, the sound is as majestic as it is intimate, the tone ominous but fragile. Director David Kain has all but captured the song’s sense of longing for redemption, its dark romantic underlay. But hell, don’t take our word for it, have a look and listen for yourselves, then go back to marking the days off your calendar until Tuesday, June 17th, 2014.
