Stereo Embers has learned that the son of Nick Cave has died.
The musician’s fifteen-year-old son Arthur died after a fall from a cliff in Ovingdean, a small village in Brighton.
Sussex police reported that the boy’s body was found on Tuesday on the underpass of Ovingdean Gap.
Cave was taken to a nearby hospital after first aid was administered, but his injuries were too severe for him to survive.
Nick Cave and his wife Susie Bick visited the cliff where flowers and other tributes were laid in Arthur’s memory.
“Our son Arthur died Tuesday evening,” Cave wrote in a statement. “He was our beautiful, happy loving boy.”
Arthur has a twin brother named Earl.
